What a miracle! We are SO HAPPY to report that 50-year-old SIM Missionary Kevin Rideout, who was kidnapped from Niger 9 months ago, has been released!!! You can see the full story HERE!
SIM stated "We are grateful to confirm that our good friend and brother in Christ, Kevin Rideout, has been released after over nine months in captivity. He was kidnapped from outside his home in Niamey, Niger on the 21st of October, 2025. Kevin is in good health in the care of US officials. He will soon be reunited with Krista, his children, and his extended family. Krista and the rest of Kevin’s family are profoundly grateful for the prayers offered on their behalf by people around the world throughout his captivity, and in particular for the deep level of prayer and support offered by our SIM family. We ask that you respect the privacy of the family while they reconnect after this time apart. Please join us in giving thanks to the Lord for this incredibly good news!"
Can You Help With A Medical Need?
Principal Ojo of Friends and Neighbors High School has requested help with $300 to cover his mother's medical care. She will NOT receive care unless the money is made available up front. We will help her immediately. Can you help us to fund this?
From Principal Ojo: "Good Morning Ma, how are you doing today? We are fine here. Please Ma, I need urgent medical care for my Mother. I told you about the spinal injury she substained 8 years ago whereby she was required to do surgery last year. But due to lack of funds, she has been on medications since then. When I visited her during holiday, she is expected to go for more diagnostic machine examination and drugs will be prescribed to her. The Medical Centre Ido Ekiti in Ekiti State told her to have at least 400,000 Naira ($298) for this. I don't have this kind of money, I don't know if you can help us raise some funds for this Ma. I will be very grateful Ma. If this can happen, I will go to the Kabeyesi (local king) and the Police Departments with the letters to book an appointment with the Assistant Director. Thank you Ma."
