About The Good Shepherd Nursery Primary

In Peace Village, the Good Shepherd Nursery and Primary School has 208 students! There are many tribes in the area, including Fulani, Yoruba, and Hausa. The school was built in a round, to model a Fulani hut. On Lafiya Grazing Reserve, we feature 400 acres where we are demonstrating rotational grazing, and 1600 acres farther up the river. Lafiya means peace in the Hausa language. Butterfield Memorial Clinic serves the students, their families, and all surrounding villages. This is a beautiful, lush area on a river. The villages up and down river all wanted their children to attend school, so we built a HUGE boat (Big Blue) as a school bus!
